SINGAPORE NATIONAL ARMWRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2023

The Singapore Armwrestling Association (SGAW) cordially invites you to the 2023 Singapore National Armwrestling Championships. All local athletes must be affiliated with SGAW, and registration for affiliation is available during the event registration process. International participants are welcome to compete in standard categories, with results not contributing to national rankings.

The Singapore National Armwrestling Championships 2023 serves as a qualifier for all competitions affiliated with IFA, AFA and URPA. All athletes representing Singapore at these competitions must be affiliated with Singapore Armwrestling. All affiliated athletes must be ranked annually as a part of the qualifying process for participation at future regional and international competitions. All athletes must abide by the code of conduct and have no outstanding penalties with Singapore Armwrestling Association.
In the event of a regional or international competition no-show for a ranked athlete, one of the two best-ranking athletes below him/her will be selected to take his/her place in the competition. In such an event, Singapore Armwrestling holds the right to select athletes via super-match rankings and general conduct on a case by case basis.

- All athletes are required to pay a $50 affiliation fee.
- This fee is renewed annually during each national championship.
- This affiliation fee supports the development and maintenance of our upcoming "Official Singapore Armwrestling Website & Leaderboard"
- The affiliation fee also covers the administrative expenses associated with maintaining our relationship with International Federation of Armwrestling (IFA). This affiliation offers our athletes the opportunity to participate in IFA-sanctioned events, which can lead to opportunities in competing at international events.
- Going forward, member affiliated with Singapore Armwrestling may be offered discounted entry fees for our local events, access to exclusive training resources, or discount or access to special merchandise.
Multiples Entries:
- Sub-junior 15 athletes cannot register in Junior 18 and Youth 21 classes.
- Junior 18 athletes cannot register in Youth 21 classes.
- Junior 18, Youth 21, and Master athletes can register in Seniors class.

- Amateur Division athletes can both the Amateur Division and the Pro Division.
- Pro Division athletes cannot join the Amateur Division.
- Pro Division athletes are any athlete ranked State-level or higher
- Amateur Division athletes are any athlete ranked Novice-level and below

Fees for entries into multiple categories will be charged according to the fee stated above.
DRESS CODE:
- Athletes may choose to wear the included National Championship 2023 T-shirts or their Club Jersey.
- Athletes are required to wear long pants.
- Athletes are required to wear covered shoes.

Shorts, bermudas, slippers, sandals, crocs, and heels are strictly not allowed.
